Chinx’s Murder May Be Linked To Stack Bundles’ Death, Police Say

THE COKE BOY’S MURDER MAY BE TIED TO HIS MENTOR’S 2007 DEATH

Police say that rapper Chinx’s murder may be linked to the 2007 killing of Stack Bundles, who was his mentor, the New York Daily News reports.

“They were friends, Stack Bundles and Chinx. They were friends, so we’re looking at all hip-hop angles,” NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce said.

Chinx and Bundles grew up together in the Far Rockaway section of Queens and started their own rap crew, Riot Squad, in the early 2000’s. But when Chinx began a five-year sentence in prison for drugs and robbery charges, Bundles linked up with Jim Jones and Max B. As his career took off, it came to an abrupt end when he was shot and killed in Far Rockaway in 2007.

Boyce said that police are concerned about possible retaliation due to French Montana’s highly publicized on-and-off relationship with Khloe Kardashian.

“We certainly are. There’s always the issue of retaliation in these things.”

As the investigation moves along, Boyce said that no has hindered the process and sources tell them that there was no fight at the club were Chinx performed 2:30 a.m that night before he was killed.
