Childish Gambino Did Not Show Up To Perform At Hot 97’s Summer Jam

THE ACTOR-TURNED-RAPPER WAS A NO-SHOW

Hot 97’s Summer Jam rocked MetLife Stadium yesterday (June 7) with an all-star lineup of performers that included Chris Brown, Kendrick Lamar, Trey Songz, Meek Mill and Fabolous brought out 12 surprise guests including Mase, The Lox, Lil Kim, Fat Joe and Remy Ma. But one of the acts that was supposed to hit the main stage was a no show. After Meek Mill’s performance, Childish Gambino was expected to hit the stage, but he didn’t.

Instead, Troy Ave did a surprise performance. Then, Fetty Wap, who also performed on the festival stage, came through unexpectedly and closed out the show with hits like “Trap Queen” and “My Way.”

Childish Gambino has yet to speak on why he did not show up to Summer Jam.
