Diddy Arrested At Son’s Football Practice

Rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested Monday and charged with suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon at his son’s football practice on the campus of UCLA campus.

The arrest happened about 12:30 p.m. at the Acosta Athletic Training Complex, police say, inferring Diddy attempted some act with a kettle bell. Diddy faces felony charges, but nobody was seriously hurt in the incident.

Diddy’s son Justin plays for the UCLA football team, along with Snoop’s son.

Diddy was in police custody as of 6 p.m. Intimate details of what happened were not immediately available.

“I’m thankful that our staff showed the level of professionalism that they did in handling this situation,” Bruins head coach Jim Mora said in a statement. “This is an unfortunate incident for all parties involved. While UCPD continues to review this matter, we will let the legal process run its course and refrain from further comment at this time.” 

Diddy was expected to be taken to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Inmate Reception Center, according to the Associated Press.
