Chance The Rapper To Star In Mystery Film, ‘Slice’

CHANCE IS HEADED TO THE BIG SCREEN

Chance the Rapper has been bit by the acting bug, again. The Chi-town rapper has been tapped to star in a mystery flick, Slice. According to reports, the film, which is directed by Austin Vesley, follows characters as they try to find out who killed a local pizza delivery man. Slice is due out in 2016. Chance will play a character named Dax. No word on how his role fits into the plot.

“When a pizza delivery driver is murdered on the job, the city searches for someone to blame: ghosts? drug dealers? a disgraced werewolf?,” reads the IMDb page. Chance is also listed as a producer for the film.

The “Juice” rapper also starred in a short film earlier this year, Mr. Happy,  where he played a suicidal loner who has had many unsuccessful attempts at killing himself.
