“TUPAC GAVE ME THE COURAGE TO STAND UP AND SAY F*CK THE WORLD”

(AllHipHop News) Tupac Shakur is one of the most respected icons in Hip Hop history. Even other rap artists are fans of 2Pac, including Detroit emcee Marshall “Eminem” Mathers. The Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts in Stone Mountain, Georgia has a copy of a hand-written letter Eminem wrote to Pac’s mother Afeni Shakur. The “Phenomenal” rapper also sent the Hip Hop matriarch a drawing of her son.

“You have no idea how much your son and his music inspired, not only the ‘Hip Hop’ world, but speaking for myself, has inspired my whole career,” wrote Eminem.

He later adds, “[2Pac] gave me the courage to stand up and say, ‘F*ck the world! This is who I am! And if you don’t like it, go f*ck yourself!’”
