Young Thug Arrested On Terrorist Threat Charges

Young Thug was arrested this morning (July 15) on terrorist threat charges, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports. U.S Marshals were acting on an outstanding warrant issued by the Dunwoody police department when they arrived at his home in the Sandy Springs section of Georgia around 6 a.m.

There are no details about the situation that led to his arrest. Thugger, born Jeffery Lamar Williams, will be transferred to DeKalb County Jail for his court appearance and bond hearing.

“Williams was wanted on an outstanding warrant charging him with terroristic threats stemming from an incident that occurred with the jurisdiction of the Dunwoody police,” said Jim Joyner, a spokesman for the U.S. Marshals.
