(AllHipHop News) The N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton is set to hit theaters on August 14. In preparation of he highly anticipated film, The Hollywood Reporter collected cast members Jason Mitchell, Corey Hawkins, and O’Shea Jackson, Jr. together with N.W.A members/movie producers Ice Cube and Dr. Dre.

“The movie is definitely going to shine a light on the problems. Especially because of all the situations that are happening with Mike Brown in Ferguson, Ezell Ford here in Los Angeles,” says Dre. “It’s definitely going to keep this situation in people’s minds, and make sure that everybody out there understands that this is still a problem that’s happening today.”
