BET Bringing Back 'Uncut' Was A Prank To Promote 'Punk'd'

BET nearly broke the internet with rumors of bringing back Uncut, everyone’s late night guilty pleasure programming. There was a lot of back and forth about whether the show would really be revamped or not but when BET seemingly made an official announcement and said it would premiere on Aug. 11th, there were no more doubts.

It turns out that the announcement was actually the first successful prank for another show they are revamping, Punk’d. The promotion of the show was flipped into promotion for the MTV-turned-BET show.
