NYPD Offering Reward For Information About Chinx’s Death

POLICE ARE LOOKING FOR HELP TO SOLVE THE RAPPER’S MURDER

(AllHipHop News) On May 17, Lionel “Chinx” Pickens was gunned down in New York. The city’s police department is still trying to find the person or persons responsible for the fatal shooting. According to NBC 4 New York, the NYPD is offering a $2,500 reward for information that leads to an arrest in connection to Chinx’s murder.

The Far Rockaway rapper was killed on Queens Boulevard after a vehicle pulled next to him and began firing. One other unidentified person was also reportedly hit. The second victim was taken to the hospital and said to be in critical condition.

The posthumous Chinx album Welcome To JFK is scheduled for release on August 14. The project features appearances by French Montana, Stack Bundles, Nipsey Hussle, Ty Dolla $ign, Jeremih, and more.
