Ciara has received a lot of backlash from those who believe she has had her new boyfriend, NFL player Russell Wilson, around her young son with Future too early in their relationship. During a visit to CBS This Morning she finally broke her silence about the criticism that has been sent way.
“It’s been very interesting to hear what a lot of guys have had to say,” she said. “And I feel like in a sense it’s a bit of a double standard because at one point in time when we were together, I took care of his kids as well.”
The Jackie singer said that she tried reaching out to Future regarding the situation but he did not want to talk to her.
“I don’t know what more they would expect me to do than just live my life, and that’s what I’m doing.”
