Kid Ink Talks Growing Up In L.A. & The Toughest Part Of The Music Business (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) California rapper Kid Ink was tapped to take part in the third installment of 1800 Tequila’s “Enough Said” video series. The “Ride Out”performer spoke about growing up in L.A.

“I am from Los Angeles, California born and raised. I think growing up in LA is very cultural, there’s a lot of different cultures,” said Kid Ink. “Being able to grow up and have different music and sounds and vibes and food and different religions, everything in general, I think everything in general made me a better artist and more of an open-minded artist.

The 29-year-old rhymer began his artistic endeavors as a teenager participating in a local music program. Kid went on to release numerous mixtapes and three albums including 2015’s Full Speed. He also talked about the most difficult part of being in the industry.

“The toughest part of the music business is having to really do it on my own and get through it myself,” added Kid.
