Well, DJ Skee had the internet on fire last night when he tweeted that a mixtape from two rappers was about to drop out of no where today.
That single tweet from Skee led to “Future & Drake” to become a trending topic on Twitter as fans assumed the 6 God and the Freebandz President were the two rappers about to join forces.
That may also have something to do with Charlamagne Tha God and Angela Yee dropping a hint about Drizzy and F. Hendrix earlier in the week (see: Are Future & Drake Planning Something Big Together?).
Of course, there is no official word about a Future/Drake collab project. We can’t even be sure Skee is accurate. He has put out statements about joint projects in the past that didn’t quite play out like he said. (see: Jay Z & Beyonce Reportedly Working On A Joint Album).
