Raven-Symone Apologizes For ‘Ghetto Names’ Comment

THE CHILD STAR SAYS SORRY FOR HER INSENSITIVE COMMENTS

Raven-Symone has been under fire all weekend for her comments about “ghetto” names she made on The View last week.  After declaring that she would not “hire you if your name is Watermelon-Andrea,” the internet threw endless slander her way.

It didn’t help that her father was as equally disgusted with her comments after coming forth saying that his daughter “sometimes says dumb s–t.”

The former Cosby star had no choice but to issue an apology via her Facebook page.

“My comment was in poor taste,” she said in her FB post. “My lack of empathy towards name discrimination was uncalled for.”
