Miami hip-hop artist Epidemic provided top DJ’s, bloggers and industry tastemakers with an exclusive first listening event for his highly anticipated “2018” Mixtape dropping early next year. The event was held over the weekend and featured a who’s who guest list with WWPR Power 105.1’s Angela Yee hosting at the iconic Empire hotel rooftop.
Angela Yee’s fellow Breakfast Club morning show counterpart and the Global Spin Awards’ latest “DJ of the Year” recipient, DJ Envy dropped by to support Epidemic and perform a guest DJ set featuring his hot new single “Squat 4 Me”. The high profile event featured celebrity guests including Jay-Z’s RocNation artist Jay Electronica, DJ Suss-One and DJ Amanda Blaze who both entertained the crowd with unreleased records from Epidemic’s new project.
While in New York Epidemic continued his promo tour for “Squat 4 Me” with club hostings and appearances at top clubs across the the city, including: Heaven’s with WQHT HOT 97.1’s DJ Wallah, DJ Spinking and DJ Hollywood; Starlets with DJ Clue and Lust with DJ Self and DJ Sparks.
