Kendrick Lamar Responds To President Obama Praising “How Much A Dollar Cost” (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Kendrick Lamar got one of the biggest cosigns possible when President Barack Obama named “How Much A Dollar Cost” featuring James Fauntleroy and Ronald Isley as his favorite song of 2015. TMZ caught up with K. Dot to ask the Compton representative for his thoughts on the Commander-In-Chief praising his To Pimp A Butterfly cut.

“That’s great,” replied Kendrick.

The cameraman then asked the Grammy winning emcee a question connected to the message of his track. “How Much A Dollar Cost” centers around the story of a person refusing to give money to a homeless man. That homeless man turned out to be God testing the protagonist for a chance to get into heaven.

Kendrick told the photog, “Help as many people as you can. You won’t live forever.”
