EXCLUSIVE: Turk Addresses Reported Lil Wayne, Mannie Fresh & Juvenile Joint Album

THE HOT BOY SAYS HE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ANY REUNION LP

AllHipHop.com spoke with Turk about the supposed collaborative LP, and the YNT leader wants the world to know he is not involved with any album from the trio. In fact, Turk would not confirm whether the project is even in the works.

“People can stop hitting me up about any album. I don’t have nothing to do with that,” says Turk. “I’m focused on my movement and what I’m doing. But, like I’ve always said, there can’t be a Hot Boys reunion without B.G.”

B.G. – the fourth member of the Hot Boys with Turk, Wayne, and Juvenile – is currently incarcerated. He was sentenced to 14 years in a federal prison for gun possession and witness tampering in 2012.

Before B.G. was locked up, the Hot Boys released numerous records in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s. The group’s 1999 album Guerrilla Warfare sold over 1 million copies and spawned the Mannie Fresh produced hits “We On Fire” and “I Need A Hot Girl.”

At the moment, Turk is promoting his own solo single “UGGHHH.” As far as the LP from Weezy, Juve, and Mannie, Turk is taking a wait and see approach.

“I look forward to hearing that first single,” adds Turk about the presumed joint LP.
