(AllHipHop News) When Travi$ Scott first released his album Rodeo in late 2015, listeners were surprised to see Justin Bieber be featured on the track “Maria I’m Drunk” with Young Thug. Recently in an interview with Billboard, the G.O.O.D. Music producer explained how Bieber ended up getting a spot on the album. According to Scott, Bieber randomly reached out to the “Antidote” rapper, and from there, the two had built a strong friendship with one another.
When asked about Bieber’s appearance on “Maria I’m Drunk”, Scott tells Billboard that he was always a fan of the singer, and felt that his vocals would fit the song.
“Why that song? I don’t know, cause I actually made the second half of that song, before the first half of that song. I just felt his voice would compliment it and s###. “
