(AllHipHop News) Kendrick Lamar offered the most compelling performance of a sensational night at The Grammys. Lady Gaga was a close second with her rousing ode to the late Davie Bowie.
Kendrick performed an incredible medley of “U,” “Alright” and “Blacker The Berry” all from his album To Pimp A Butterfly. The opus won a total of 7 Grammy Awards for the evening.
The album and Grammy performance were statements about the African American experience in the United States.
