(AllHipHop News) The powerful production duo of Adrian Younge (Ghostface Killah) and Ali Shaheed Muhammad (A Tribe Called Quest) were among the creatives to contribute to Kendrick Lamar’s surprise project untitled unmastered. The instrumental for “untitled 06” was produced at Younge’s Linear Labs studio in Los Angeles, and it was initially created for the pair’s upcoming album The Midnight Hour. Sam Taylor, SVP of A&R and Creative at Kobalt, shared a few Midnight Hour tracks with Lamar.

The TDE emcee decided to use the demo CeeLo had named “Question Marks” for his own project. A final version of  “Question Marks” – with just the Goodie Mob member – will appear on Younge and Muhammad’s LP.

“Kendrick Lamar never really cares about what the critics think. This is why he is a true artist,”  says Adrian Younge. “A true artist tells the world what is great, before everyone else figures it out.”

Muhammad adds, “Kendrick Lamar is the definition of a true artist; his music transcends time because he creates with unfettered freedom.”

Music listeners and television fans can look for Adrian Younge and Ali Shaheed Muhammad’s collaborative work as part of a forthcoming TV show’s psychedelic score. Younge recently released his own album Something About April II.
