Black Girls Rock! Rocked With Beverly Bond, Hilary Clinton, Tracy Ellis Ross & More!

(AllHipHop News) BET Networks and Beverly Bond, Founder, CEO and Creator of  Black Girls Rock! pulled out all the bells and whistles for the 10th Annual  Black Girls Rock! show. Held this past Friday at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, it was truly a star studded event. 

Black Girls Rock! highlights the triumphs of brilliant Black women in an extraordinary night celebrating Black Girl Magic™. Black Girls Rock!™ acknowledges the achievements of Black women who have broken barriers in the areas of art, music, philanthropy and community service

Actress and star of Blackish, Tracy Ellis Ross hosted the star studded event. Among the many celebrity honorees were singer Gladys Knight, who was given the “Living Legend Award” and multi-platinum pop star Rihanna, who received the “Rock Star Award.” Beverly Bond even received an award, presented by Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton. 

The NAACP Award winning Black Girls Rock! on BET continues to represent a revolutionary landmark in media as it delivers edifying, entertaining and inspiring content honoring the nexus of achievements made by powerful Black women and girls. I felt privileged to be in attendance. Way to go DJ Beverley Bond for continuing such a great cause!
