The publication reports TLOP earned 94,000 equivalent album units. Only 28,000 of that total was from pure sales which means 70% of the calculation was from streams.

Kanye’s latest musical collection saw listeners in the U.S. rack up 99 million streaming equivalent albums in the week since Pablo‘s release on Spotify, Apple Music, and other services. It was originally only available on the West co-owned Tidal.

Another artist owner of Tidal was the previous record holder for highest streaming percentage for a #1 album. Rihanna set the bar at 31.3% earlier this year with Anti. The project was also a Tidal exclusive for some time.

Yet another Tidal exclusive made a good showing on this week’s Billboard 200. Big Sean and Jhené Aiko’s Twenty88 will open at #5 with 49,000 EAU and 40,000 in album sales.
