50 Cent Has Event Cancelled As Reported Boycott Of Effen Vodka Continues

IS 50’S EFFEN VODKA SPONSORSHIP AT RISK?

(AllHipHop News) After apologizing for making fun of an autistic worker at the Cincinnati airport, rapper 50 Cent is facing more backlash in the aftermath of his Instagram post.

According to reports from St. Louis‘ KMOV, Randall’s Liquor and Spirits in South City have decided to cancel their event with 50 Cent on May 5th.

“Given the recent events we’ve decided to not go forward with the event,” said Jace Bennet at Randall’s.

The worker has since been identified as Andrew Farrell  and suffers from social anxiety in addition to autism.

“It hurts to watch that, it’s painful,” the kid’s stepfather said. “You come up and you start talking to a kid you know nothing about. That’s not fair. That’s a slap in the face.”

Randall’s is now offering fans a full refund and for the event in which 50 was to sign Effen Vodka bottles.

Effen Vodka was not able to be reached for a comment on the matter at the time of print.
