Flavor Flav Trying Chicken Business Again

FLAVOR FLAV IS GETTING BACK IN TO THE CHICKEN BIZ

(AllHipHop News) Rap Legend Flavor Flav will once again try his hand at finding success in the restaurant/fast food business.

The 57-year-old old founding member of Public Enemy is scouting for locations and looking to open a new business with partners in Minnesota.

The local business community in Minnesota seems to be embracing Flavor Flav and his fourth attempt at building out his chicken & ribs business.

“As everybody knows, I have a specialty called fried chicken, so I’m trying to bring some chicken to y’all’s neighborhood. It’s about to go down,” Flavor Flav told Minneapolis’ The Current during an appearance on the radio station.

“Once I put a restaurant up here, it’s gonna kill ’em! We’re about to have some fun. I’m gonna bring y’all some good chicken,” Flavor promised to host Sean McPherson.

Flavor Flav, born William Drayton Jr., is no stranger to the restaurant business.

In 2011 he opened Flav’s Fried Chicken in Iowa and closed it down after six months. He tried again with House of Flavor in Las Vegas, which closed in 2012 after a half-a-year in business.

All of those chicken businesses went belly up, but Flav persevered and gave it another shot in Detroit with Flavor Flav’s Chicken & Ribs. But that business soon fell behind in rent to the tune of almost $20,000 and the business was eventually evicted in June of 2013.

There is no word yet on when Flav’s latest business will open.
