Official trailer for the retro comedy action film “The Nice Guys” starring Russell Crowe, Ryan Gosling and Kim Basinger, scheduled for nationwide theater release on May 20, 2016.

Just in time for the summer, courtesy of Warner Bros. Pictures, moviegoers can take a trip back in time to 1970s Los Angeles and watch stars Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling play private eyes looking to crack the case of a missing girl, unravel the death of a p### star and survive a urban California landscape replete with pool party mermaids and handy trashcan lids as impromptu body armor.  Does this sort of action sound a bit loopy even for la la land?  Seeing as “The Nice Guys” is an action comedy with a serious retro flow, it’s only fitting.

“The Nice Guys” directed by Shane Black ( “Iron Man 3”)  also stars Angourie Rice, Matt Bomer, Margaret Qualley, Keith David, Beau Knapp and Kim Basinger. It is set for nationwide theater release on May 20, 2016.  Check out the official trailer below:
