Bobby Shmurda To Stay In Jail, Trial Pushed Back

(AllHipHop News) Bobby Shmurda’s was to see a day in court, but his trial has been pushed back to September.

The news was confirmed by Kati Cornell, the Director of Public Information at the Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor in New York, to XXL.

The Brooklyn native was supposed to go to trial on Febraury 22, then May 1, then May 12 and now it is set for September 12.

It was the four defendants that requested the delay through their attorneys.

Alex Spiro represents Bobby Shmurda, who was born Ackquille Pollard. Attorney Javier Solano represents Rowdy Rebel. Kevin Canefield is the lawyer for Cueno and Leslie Jones-Thomas will defend Montana Flea.

Shmurda has waged his own counterstrike against the NYPD for wrongful arrest.

The rapper claims he was the target of a wrongful and warrantless search after police rushed into a friend’s Brooklyn apartment he was in on Dec. 17, 2014.

He was arrested, but claimed that none of the illegal materials were his.
