Another Member of Bobby Shmurda’s GS9 Was Sentenced to Over 50 Years For Murder Charges

MORE BAD NEWS FOR GS9!

(AllHipHop News) Bobby Shmurda’s chances of being released from prison just got worse.

Yesterday (May 20), another member of his affiliated crew, GS9, was sentenced to 53 years in prison following the murder of a 19-year old in February 2013.

According to New York Daily News, Alex Cranden, also known as “A-Rod” in GS9, participated in the murder of a rival gang member in February, following a plethora of shootings and other violent cases in East Flatbush in a two-year period.

Crandon did make an attempt to make a plea for leniency.

Unfortunately, Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Abraham dismissed it, claiming that the gang member gave up his opportunity to have another shot at a good life.

Crandon was sentenced to 53 years in prison for multiple charges including conspiracy murder, and attempted murder.

Crandon’s harsh sentencing follows another GS9 member, Rashid Derissant, who was sentenced to 98 years in prison on Tuesday.

Bobby Shmurda’s has been in jail for over a year, with a $2 million dollar bail, and has yet to have a scheduled trial.
