Paul McCartney Defends Kanye West’s Use Of The “N-Word”

THE BEATLES LEGEND SAYS HE WAS “PLEASED” WITH YE RAPPING “N-GGA”

(AllHipHop News) Last year Paul McCartney – along with Allan Kingdom and Theophilus London – was a featured artist on Kanye West’s single “All Day.”

The Grammy nominated song was controversial because West says the “n-word” more than 40 times.

During an interview with Radio 4’s Mastertapes, McCartney discussed the criticism the record received for the repeated use of “n-gga.”

However, the Beatles legend had no problem with Ye rapping the word.

“People like Oprah, who’s a little conservative about that stuff, said, ‘You shouldn’t do it, even black people shouldn’t use that word.’ I said, ‘Yeah, but it’s Kanye! And he’s talking about an urban generation that uses that word in a completely different way,'” stated McCartney. “It’s the context. So I was actually pleased with it.”
