Over the weekend Lil’ Mama released a freestyle over Drake‘s “4PM in Calabasas,” and social media went crazy with the belief that she was firing subliminal shots at Nicki Minaj.
“And you ain’t got no sons. I be hearing you talkin’ crazy, but you really is buns. So when you talk, talk politely. And when you tread, tread lightly cause the ice getting thinner, like 666, it’s gonna be a cold winter.”
Nicki often refers to others as her sons especially others in the rap game, so many took Lil’ Mama’s lyrics to be a response. Nicki can be a pretty shady one, so we wouldn’t be surprised if she responds to Lil’ Mama in some way. Do you think Lil’ Mama was talking to Nicki, or do you think folks were reaching on social media as usual?
