(AllHipHop News) Things went awry for rapper Lil Wayne after the 2016 BET Awards in Los Angeles, after an altercation with a nightclub doorman.
TMZ.com reports that the incident occurred last night (June 26), at Hyde nightclub.
Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz were hosting an event for their group ColleGrove at Hyde. Apparently, members of Lil Wayne’s entourage had difficulties getting into his event.
The dispute turned physical after the bouncer grabbed Wayne’s arm. The bouncer’s aggression allegedly spurred Lil Wayne to punch the bouncer in the face, sending him to a local hospital.
The unnamed doorman has filed a battery report with the Los Angeles Police Department, which could lead to a misdemeanor charge against Weezy.
