The BET Experience Features Fan Favorite Celebrity Basketball Game & Amazing Performances

THE CELEB B-BALL GAME IS ALWAYS A FAN FAVORITE!

Day three of the BET Experience at L.A. Live was just as action-packed as day one and two. Day 3 had an exciting day of events including the highly anticipated Celebrity Basketball Game presented by Sprite. Snoop Dogg, Nick Cannon, Floyd Mayweather, Omarion, Wale, The Game, Desiigner, Marsia Martinand also known as Team Lemon and Team Lime, competed with each other to take home the winning trophy. Shorter players Tank and Floyd Mayweather proved to still be MVPs and contenders against the taller players. Comedic hosts/ commentators DeRay Davis and Deon Cole kept fans laughing with a series of jokes and jabs at the players. Beyoncé’s rising music duo Chloe x Halle opened the game with a striking rendition of the national anthem while Yo Gotti gave an energetic half time performance proving that it still goes “Down In The DM”. He also performed his hit, “The Law,” and revealed that he still has a crush on Angela Simmons!

The fun continued across the hall at the Los Angeles convention center with amazing performances throughout the fan fest at free stages. Ro James, BJ the Chicago Kid, Bibi Bourelly and more took the BETX Music Stage sponsored by Nissan. Dreezy, Desiigner, O.T. Genasis, Kevin Gates, Fat Joe and Remy Ma gave crowd pleasing performances at the BETX Main stage sponsored by JG Wentworth, and exciting acts Kodie Shane, Jacquees, Chloe x Halle and Jovaine hit the Coca-Cola Music Studio!

The fan fest also featured the AT&T presented Genius Talks with an exciting slate of conversations from DJ Khaled, Gabrielle Union, Snoop Dogg, Birdman, Jermaine Dupri and more. Gabrielle Union lead a very honest conversation about the need for strong black female leads in Hollywood and the challenges women of color face. Union spoke openly about understanding and being proud of who you are as an individual. She also shared a story of one of her first jobs going for a Tupac music video. She expressed that upon meeting her, Tupac asked why she was even there. Union explained that she took this interaction as a sign to go forward and accomplish bigger and better things!
