Jay Z Aims For Dominance In The Country Market With Roc Nation Nashville

JAY Z IS ABOUT TO TAKE OVER COUNTRY MUSIC!

(AllHipHop News) Hip-Hop mogul Jay Z has his sights set on the heart of country music with the launch of Roc Nation Nashville, a newly formed division of Roc Nation.

The new division will be a full service entertainment company. Jay and company have already entered into a publishing partnership with Warner/Chappell Music (WCM).

WCM has the rights to publish Roc Nation Nashville’s music publishing repertoire which already includes a new venture with songwriter/producer, DJ Jesse Frasure.

Jesse Frasure is white hot at the moment, having scored three different #1 songs: Florida Gerogia Line’s “Sun Daze,” Rascal Flatts’ “I Like The Sound of That” and Thomas Rhett’s “Crash and Burn.”

The new Rhythm House venture with Roc Nation will feature Frasure’s own works and productions.  Jesse Frasure’s new company will also work to sign other composers and producers.

Veteran music executive BJ Hill, who is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University has been upped to Vice President of A&R for WCM, and will work with Frasure to bring top notch talent to Rhythm House/Roc Nation.

“I’m honored and grateful to begin this next chapter with partners like Roc Nation and Warner/Chappell, whom I’ve admired throughout my career,” DJ Jesse Frasure said. “Having this opportunity—combined with having a longtime friend and industry-respected individual like BJ Hill join the Rhythm House team—is a dream come true.”
