(AllHipHop News) Drake has stamped himself as the undisputed king of the Billboard charts in 2016. The OVO leader’s Views has dominated the Billboard 200 album chart for 8 consecutive weeks, and his single “One Dance” is ruling the Hot 100.
Drake has commanded another Billboard chart as well. The Artist 100 – which measures album/track sales, radio airplay, streaming, and social media fan interaction to rank the top musical acts in the country – has been led by Drizzy for 8 straight weeks.
His career total of 14 weeks atop the Artist 100 extends his record for male performers. Justin Bieber sits in second place with 11 weeks, and Taylor Swift is the all-time champ thanks to her 31 weeks in the top spot.
In addition, Drake currently leads the Artist 100, Hot 100 and Billboard 200 for the 7th week. That puts him in a tie with Swift for most weeks an artist has been at #1 on all three charts at the same time.
