Songs By Drake, Rihanna & Desiigner Collect The Most Streams Mid-Year 2016

FIND OUT WHO TOPPED THE LISTS FOR THE FIRST HALF OF THE YEAR

(AllHipHop News) Consumers are definitely leaning towards on-demand services such as Spotify, Apple Music, and Tidal for their listening pleasures (up 97.4% from last year).

The first half of 2016 has seen several music stars draw in big numbers from streaming.

According to Billboard, songs by Drake, Rihanna, and Desiigner top the mid-year count for most audio streaming. Drizzy’s “One Dance” featuring WizKid and Kyla is #1 with 286,396,000 streams.

The Toronto rhymer is also at #2 thanks to his contribution to Rihanna’s “Work” which totaled 249,625,000 streams.

RiRi is followed by Desiigner at #3. The Brooklyn native’s “Panda” collected 197,997,000 streams.

“Panda” also managed to grabbed the top spot on the list of mid-year video streams. The song’s visuals racked up 269,382,000 streams. “Work” came in second with 261,829,000 streams.
