EXCLUSIVE: Surprises Expected During Dungeon Family Reunion At ONE Musicfest

WILL ANDRE 3000 BE AT THE ATLANTA FESTIVAL?

(AllHipHop News) The legendary Hip Hop collective known as the Dungeon Family is set to reassemble at this year’s ONE Musicfest in Atlanta.

Big Boi, Goodie Mob, Killer Mike, Organized Noize, and the rest of the crew will be present at Lakewood Amphitheatre later this summer.

But what about extended Dungeon Family tree members such as Future, Joi, and Slimm Calhoun? And will OutKast’s Andre 3000 make a rare appearance on the stage that night?

AllHipHop.com spoke with ONE Musicfest founder Jason Carter about the forthcoming event. The marketing and advertising professional warns fans not to be absent on September 10.

“Let me just say this, if you were to ask The Dungeon Family and Organized Noize, they would say, ‘You just got to show up. You got to be there. You don’t want to miss it,'” states Carter when asked if Andre 3K will be part of the reunion.

He goes on to discuss how the Dungeon Family’s connection to various artists could lead to some other big names showing up during the ATL squad’s ONE Musicfest set.

“You know how people play ‘Six Degrees of Separation’ with Kevin Bacon? You can literally do that with the Dungeon Family and connect them with almost every A-list artist,” Carter adds. “Even beyond the nucleus of Dungeon Family and Organized Noize, there’s a lot of other folks that are excited about this happening that may show up. They have a lot of production underneath their belts, so it’s going to be a few surprises.”

The 2016 ONE Musicfest is scheduled for Saturday, September 10 at Atlanta’s Lakewood Amphitheatre. For more information visit www.onemusicfest.com.
