Drake’s Domination Of Charts Continues As He Claims Top Spot On Billboard Artist 100

WILL DRAKE’D RUN EVER END!??

(AllHipHop News) Drake’s reign at the top doesn’t appear to be coming to an end anytime soon as the Toronto MC has reclaimed the top spot on the Billboard Artist 100 charts for a 16th total week.

According to Billboard, The Artist 100 measures artist activity across Billboard’s most prominent charts the Billboard Hot 100, Top Album Sales, and Social 50.

As evidence of Drizzy’s current domination of the music world he currently claims the top spot on the Artist 100, Hot 100, and Billboard 200 simultaneously for a record extending 9th total week.

Drake’s Wizkid and Kyla’s track “One Dance” sits at the top of the Hot 100 charts for its 10th nonconsecutive week, while Views logs in at the top of the Billboard 200 for its 10th week as well.

The rapper also set the record for the most weeks at No. 1 on the Artist 100 chart among solo males with his 16th nonconsecutive week on the throne.

Pop icon Justin Bieber is second among males with 11 weeks at the top spot.

Also, Drake certainly has to thank streaming for much of his success at the top of the Artist 100, as it accounts for 43 percent of his chart points followed by digital song sales at 21 percent, airplay at 18 percent, and album sales at 16 percent.
