(AllHipHop News) One nominated visual is a highly-memed video released in 2015. Another is a controversial clip that made headlines in 2016.
Both Drake’s “Hotline Bling” and Kanye West’s “Famous” are part of the group that will compete for the Video Of The Year honor at MTV’s Video Music Awards on August 28.
“Formation” by Beyoncé, “Hello” by Adele, and “Sorry” by Justin Bieber are included in the VOTY category. Bey leads all nominations with eleven, and Adele follows with eight.
The Best Hip Hop Video section features “Hotline Bling” as well as Desiigner’s “Panda,” Bryson Tiller’s “Don’t,” Chance The Rapper’s “Angels,” and 2 Chainz’s “Watch Out.”
