O’Shea Jackson Jr. Speaks On #BlackLivesMatter Panel (VIDEO)

THE ‘STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON’ STAR SPEAKS ON THE MOVEMENT IN L.A.

(AllHipHop News) Straight Outta Compton star O’Shea Jackson Jr. was tapped to participate in a Black Lives Matter panel discussion presented by The Spotlight L.A’s Milana Nikkie and Carlton Epic and curated by CelebsWork.

“Once that common goal is found, that’s when you can start piecing things together. Straight Outta Compton is just about five friends who all had the same idea who put it together,” said Jackson. “Just five dudes changed the world. Just imagine what 15, 30, 60 people could do.”

Aileen Briones, founder of CelebsWork, served as moderator for the Spotlight LA Takeover 2016 event.

Black Lives Matter L.A Chapter leader Funmilola Fagbamila, CEO/founder of Brand Maverick Entertainment Steven Jones, and comedian Juhahn Jones were also part of the BLM conversation.

“With social media and celebrities… you have to use that light because you never know who’s listening or paying attention,” Jackson added. “There’s people here right now, and I’m sure everybody hears me, but I don’t know how many people are listening. And the people who listen are the people who are affected.”
