Funkmaster Flex Clowns Drake As Hot 97 Feud Rages On (POLL)

FUNKMASTER FLEX GOES IN ON DRAKE

(AllHipHop News) Hot 97’s war with Drake continued this (August 6) evening, when Funkmaster Flex stayed true to a promise to blast the rapper on his popular radio show.

Drake dissed Funkmaster Flex by name during his New York City stop on his “Summer Sixteen Tour” at Madison Square Garden on Thursday (August 4)

“They telling lies on Hot 97, that’s how it go/I told them fire Funk Flex and then I’ll do your show”

Those bars were aimed at Hot’s morning host Ebro Darden, who posted – and then downplayed – comments Drake allegedly made about being prepared to battle Eminem.

Funkmaster Flex and Drake have been beefing since Flex leaked Quentin Miller’s reference tracks used by Drake on some of his most popular songs.

So Flex went straight at Drake by claiming he isn’t a Top 5 rapper while relaying several stories

Flex claimed that the infamous 2009 footage of Drake “reading” his raps off his Blackberry was purposely circulated by Drake’s camp even though Drake denied knowing about it in advance with BBC 1 radio personality Zane Lowe.

“You calling a lot of people liars,” Funkmaster Flex continued. “Video comes out, everybody jokes on him, but everyone says, ‘but he got bars.’

“That freestyle, we rehearsed it first in this room, “Funkmaster Flex continued. “He has the Blackberry out. I had no idea he was going to leave the Blackberry out. You wanted people to think you write your bars. you wanted people to think on that Blackberry those were yours, that you wrote that.”

“Because the day would come when people might see and question your pen,” Funkmaster Flex said.
