Producers Beatnick & K-Salaam’s Music Featured During 2016 Olympic Coverage

THE DUO CELEBRATES THEIR MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENT WITH A NEW RECORD

(AllHipHop News) The 2016 Olympic Games began last week in Rio de Janeiro. While athletes from around the world took center stage in Brazil, two music producers also reached millions of viewers during NBC’s coverage of the sporting event.

Production by the duo of Beatnick & K-Salaam was featured in the opening montage of the Games. More of their music is expected to play throughout the two-week event as well.

“This is definitely something that we’re proud of. I have to give a lot of the credit to Beatnick as well as Lab Fantasma in Brazil,” states K-Salaam. “I feel like we made something special because everybody’s trying to use these songs that we did in Brazil. We get a lot of emails about these tracks. We obviously struck a nerve with people.”

Beatnick & K-Salaam celebrated their television accomplishment by releasing the new track “Marvin Gaye – Sexual Healing Remix.” Their catalog also includes previous projects such as Never Can Say Goodbye and NY Is Burning.

Established performers like Lil Wayne, Bun B, Trey Songz, Talib Kweli, Buju Banton, and Freddie Gibbs have worked with the team as well. In addition, Beatnick & K-Salaam played a major role in the Doozicabraba e a Revolução Silenciosa album by award-winning Brazilian rapper Emicida.
