NEW TRIBE COMING!!

(AllHipHop News) Epic Records CEO L.A. Reid recently revealed that an album completed by golden age Hip-Hop group A Tribe Called Quest before member Phife Dawg’s death is set to hit stires “very soon.”

Reid strongly expressed some high expectations for the new LP during a recent appearance on Rap Radar’s podcast.

“I’m really happy about it man, it’s really something special. It’s one of the things I’m most excited about over everything we’re working on,” said L.A. Reid.

Reid made sure to stress that the soon to be released project is a new album with fresh material and that all of the major players from the legendary collective were involved.

“Phife is there, the whole group: Jarobi, the entire group, everybody. It’s great too,” Reid excitedly explained.

This will be the group’s first project released since 1998 project The Love Movement.

The album that marked the group’s disbandment, as they announced they would split soon after its arrival.

Apparently things turned for the better just before his untimely death.

Phife Dawg passed away from health complications related to diabetes on March 22 at the age of 45.
