Meek Mill Claims Drake Had To Leave Philly Arena With SWAT Police Escort

(AllHipHop News) Drake had no problem taking more shots at Meek Mill in his rival’s hometown of Philadelphia last night (August 21).

The Toronto native ended the performance of his diss track “Back To Back” by stating, “I love your city. You did that sh-t to your mother-f-cking-self, boy.”

Meek addressed Drake in an Instagram post (now deleted). The Dreamchasers leader claimed he was at Philly’s Well Fargo Center and Drizzy left the venue with a police escort.

He wrote:

When u run out the back door wit 12 and use the “old man” 2 save you! I’m done “you had Philadelphia swat with you” Ima go head hang up it with these suckas! Had y’all tucked in back there for hrs lol#stillrunning I only came to talk lol

Some observers are speculating that Rap-A-Lot Records CEO James Prince is the “old man” Meek was referring to in the IG message. Prince has been a very vocal supporter of Drake for years.

Drake appeared to respond to Meek’s accusations on his own Instagram page. The “One Dance” singer wrote, “I will never develop an addiction to fiction. It’s for getting at the truth when the truth isn’t sufficient for the truth.”
