B-MORE..STAND UP

There aren’t to many hip-hop artists coming out of Baltimore, Maryland these days, but every once in a while if you look close enough you can see a shooting star across a black sky.

A beautifully assembled body of art with hues of J, and contrasts of Big, set the tone allowing Baltimore-bred rap artist StarrZ, to drop a creatively curated collection with the release of his “There Are No Idols” (T.A.N.I) mixtape.

The Relumae Records artist takes listeners on a limitless, multi-genre, sonic journey from start to finish, with notable features from fellow artists King Midas on “N.S.A.” and Blu June on “Never Say Never.”

“I’m happy to see StarrZ coming into his own,” says Tamba Hali, Relumae Records CEO and NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs veteran. “This is one of his finest bodies of work thus far. He’s already done with his album ‘Project 808’ and two other mixtapes as well. I’m excited for him. Right now he’s the best in the rap game in his class. I’m not sure if artists in his class will be able to keep up with him based on his work ethic and dedication to the music.”

Currently StarrZ is preparing for a 48 city tour with Tech N9ne starting September 8th wasting no time releasing his new project fresh off the success of his latest singles “Learn to Dance Like That,” “Off the Record,”and “The Love Song.” Stay tuned for more creative new visuals and new records on the way from this ever evolving, rising star in the rap game.
