A Mural Of Nas Created In New York City

THE LIVING LEGEND IS ADDED TO THE LIST OF RAP STARS HONORED WITH A WALL IMAGE

(AllHipHop News) Creating an elaborate personal mural is one of the ways Hip Hop culture honors its icons.

New York City living legend Nas has joined rap stars like The Notorious B.I.G., 2Pac, Big L, UGK, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, and others to have their likeness depicted on a building’s wall.

Mobb Deep member Havoc uploaded a photo of the Nasir Jones mural to his Instagram page.

“#Queensbridge they just gave a long time friend from the hood a mural! He earned every last bit of that!” wrote Havoc.

According to the location notification on Havoc’s IG post, the Nas picture is located in the Queensbridge Housing Projects, the site where the Illmatic album creator grew up.
