Ice Cube And Kevin Hart’s “Ride Along 3” Reported To Be In Production

THE HIT MOVIE SERIES WILL CONTINUE

(AllHipHop News) Recent reports indicate that gangster rapper turned actor Ice Cube and Kevin Hart’s “Ride Along” movie series will soon see a continuation with “Ride Along 3.”

Variety reports that screenwriters Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi will handle the script, while the film which will be developed by Universal, will be directed by Tim Story.

Director Story was also the director for both “Think Like A Man” movies along with “Hurricane Season.”

The first “Ride Along” film, which was released in 2014, featured comedian Hart as a security guard attempting to prove his worthiness as a brother-in-law to his girlfirend’s police officer brother Ice Cube by going on a police ride-along.

“Ride Along” grossed $153 million worldwide with its sequel grossing $124 million globally.

Cube is also set to be featured in high-school comedy “Fist Fight” with Charlie Day.
