Rapper Bobby Shmurda Officially Sentenced To Seven Years In Prison

THE GS9 LEADER WILL BE HOME IN 2021!

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Bobby Shmurda has been sentenced to serve seven years behind bars.

The Hip-Hop newcomer, real name Ackquille Pollard, has been locked up since December, 2014, following his arrest during a police sting operation in Manhattan.

He was charged with counts of conspiracy to commit murder, reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a weapon and more, and, after a series of delays, jury selection in the case was due to begin last month.

However, a plea deal was struck with authorities last month and Pollard pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess weapons and possession of a weapon, in exchange for having his other counts dismissed.

He was sentenced to seven years in prison, but was granted credit for time served. He will also spend five years on probation and also waived his right to appeal the sentence.

On Wednesday (19Oct16), he was officially sentenced in Manhattan Supreme Court and will reportedly be released in 2021.

“I was forced to take this sentence, I did not want to take this sentence, I was forced by my attorney to take this plea,” Shmurda told the court, according to reports.
