Following the release of Divine Disaster earlier this year, XO (Sunil Heera) returns with his new single “Waiting Game,” taken from his first full-length project of the same titled due early 2017.
XO’s signature dark ethereal beats and warped R&B style flows through the “Waiting Game,” which also see him take centre stage on the vocal front. Naturally fitting for a deeply personal song.
“The inspiration for ‘Waiting Game’ came from a very raw, vulnerable place,” XO told AllHipHop.com in a statement. “I feel like I’m pushing boundaries and really letting my guard down to give the listeners a real piece of me for the first time.”
“Waiting Game” was co-directed and shot by XO and Beck Clewlow.
