Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles” Spends At Second Week At #1

RAE SREMMURD SCORE A SECOND WEEK ON TOP IN THE U.S.

(AllHipHop News) Rappers Rae Sremmurd have landed a second week at the top of the U.S. pop charts with their ‘Mannequin Challenge’ anthem “Black Beatles.”

The Gucci Mane collaboration, which soundtracks many of the celebrity freeze-offs posted online, keeps The Chainsmokers’ former number one “Closer” pegged to two on the new Billboard Hot 100 countdown, while The Weeknd’s “Starboy” is steady at three.

Ariana Grande’s “Side to Side,” which she performed at the American Music Awards with Nicki Minaj on Sunday night – before landing Artist of the Year honors, jumps into the top five at four, while Twenty One Pilots, who also performed at the AMAs, round out the top five with “Heathens.”

The song “Black Beatles” can credit its popularity to the #MannequinChallenge, where social media users post videos of people freezing in place as “Black Beatles” plays in the background.

The hit single was produced by Mike Will Made It.
