(AllHipHop News) The holiday season is a time for family gatherings, giving thanks, and sharing gifts.
Many people also use this period to provide support and comfort to others.
Members of the Roc Nation family stepped up to help various organizations make an impact across the country.
Over the course of 2 weeks, 39 Roc Nation artists/athletes and 49 members of the Roc Nation staff volunteered over 225 hours and served over 18,000 individuals.
For example, Meek Mill donated 150 turkeys to the Bible Way Baptist Church for We Feed the Homeless Philly’s annual turkey drive.
Big Sean and Tarence Wheeler distributed 3,500 turkeys and fixings to the All-Star Turkey Giveaway at River Rouge High School.
In Atlanta, Mayor Kasim Reed joined Tip “T.I.” Harris to hand out 500 turkeys and sides to families in need at the rap star’s 11th Annual Community Turkey Drive.
Casey Veggies, Rapsody, Belly, Skylar Diggins, and Jalen Strong were among the Roc Nation representatives to volunteer during the respective initiatives.
