(AllHipHop News) Harlem, New York rapper A$AP Rocky is fighting back in a battle over damages to a Soho apartment he rented, and allegedly trashed.
The landlord for the property sued A$AP Rocky in September of 2016, claiming the rapper demolished several rooms for a recording studio and left the place a mess when he finally moved out in August.
The landlord sued A$AP Rocky, born Rakim Mayers, for over $100,000, claiming he reneged on an agreement to fix any alterations made to the property.
Now A$AP Rocky is refusing to pay the landlord anything in a new countersuit, claiming the owner failed to maintain the building, which flooded twice, causing most of the damage he’s being sued for.
The rapper’s countersuit seeks the return of a $40,000 security deposit, plus damage.
