Ab-Soul Confirms A Kendrick Lamar/J. Cole Joint Project Is In The Works (VIDEO)

“THEY’VE BEEN WORKING ON THAT MOTHERF-CKER FOR A WHILE”

(AllHipHop News) For years, Hip Hop fans have been hearing speculation about a potential Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole joint project.

Even though Cole told the world last year on his “Black Friday” track the collaborative effort was never coming because “they can’t handle two black n-ggas this clever,” a source close to the platinum-selling rappers confirmed the collab is actually in the works.

Kendrick’s Black Hippy brethren Ab-Soul was a guest on The Breakfast Club, and the Do What Thou Wilt album creator mentioned the highly anticipated K. Dot/Cole album.

“I can’t speak on that,” responded Soulo when asked if he had a feature on Kendrick and Cole’s rumored project.

Charlamagne Tha God then questioned the Top Dawg Entertainment signee if the album was coming.

“I don’t know. These guys move like the mob. You never know with these guys,” said Ab-Soul. “I don’t know too much about it. I just hope they use my verse… They got something in the works. They’ve been working on that motherf-cker for a while.”
